   I’m going on holiday to Sri Lanka next week. I was born in Sri Lanka in 1958 and so
   were my parents. I must be about 5 or 6 generations born in Sri Lanka the first trace
   of my family in 1864 Reginald Charles Somers Pole. I would love to receive some
   information on the Pole family in Ceylon.

     I recently purchased 21 photograph albums with over 3500 portraits of Ceylonese residents from the 1880’s to the 1920’s. There is a Miss Greason and Mr. Pole photograph in the albums. There is another magazine cutting of Pole with regards to a group of coffee planters at Maskeliya in 1873.
