My great great grandfather is the Rev Thomas Poage Hunt, first headmaster of Vadokottai College from 1872 to 1880. His picture still hangs at the American missions church in Jaffna. I currently live in Ipoh, Malaysia.
I just purchased a brief letter of your great great grandfather presumably written to noted medical missionary Samuel F. Green who has added and initialed two notes on it, one saying your g.g. grandfather was “a very animated interesting preacher.”. Rev. Hunt thanks the recipient for a copy of Goulburn’s Personal Religion.
