I think I found that my grandfather and uncle was buried in the same family grave as my parents (General Cemetery – Anglican section) how can I get more information of previous generations?

I have details of all the names I sent you, (they are buried in the Anglican section of the general cemetery “kannathe” in Borella Colombo) I was looking for previous generations.
There are 2 Taylor families in Ceylon (one in the up-country area and the other in Colombo), I was looking for a common thread and when they arrived in Ceylon. I know the name originated in Scotland and moved to England in cc 1066.
Many “Taylor’s” moved to the US and Australia … I am looking for the ones who moved to south east Asia.
