I am hoping to visit Sri Lanka next year and am hoping to find where my great great grandparents are buried ..I have hardly any information except my great grandfathers marriage certificate when he was married in New Zealand .It shows he was born in Isle of Ceylon .His name was Cecil George Kern and his father who must be buried there was Cecil Theodore Kern ,It says his occupation was Clerk in Penal Office .My great grandfather was born in 1855 I think in Sri Lanka not sure when his father was born .I just don’t know where to start .

I have some records of the Kerns, and the name Cecil Theodore Kern appears. Cecil had six syblins. He was born 1832 and died 1862 buried at the Presbyterian Church yard Galle. My Grand mother from my mothers side was a Kern so I am interested.

I have a name Chandramathie Rajapaska Welandagedera who apparently married a relative of mine, Frederick Alfred Earle Price around 1923 and had a daughter Margaret and possibly a son Edmund. He was a tea planter for the ELKADUA Group.
Any information about him or her?
